  • Does not store domain queries beyond temporary caching

6. User Obligations

6.1 Account Security (Pro Users)

If you create a Pro account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities occurring under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up to date
  • Not sharing your account credentials with others

6.2 Acceptable Use Policy

  • Data Freshness: Domain information reflects the state at the time of query and may become outdated immediately after
  • Privacy Restrictions: Some registries and registrars redact WHOIS data for privacy protection
  • TLD Variations: Data availability and format varies significantly across different top-level domains
  • Historical Data: Historical tracking (Pro feature) is limited to data collected during monitoring period (up to 90 days)
  • Third-Party Tools: DNS lookups, SSL checks, Wayback Machine integration, and pricing data depend on third-party services

7.4 Geographic and Jurisdiction Limitations

  • Some features may not be available in all countries or jurisdictions
  • Domain data accessibility may be restricted by local laws or regulations
  • Payment processing through Stripe is subject to geographic restrictions

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design elements, trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Service are the exclusive property of domaindetails.com or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Source code, software, and algorithms

AGGREGATE LIABILITY CAP:

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) $100 USD, OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
