Website history questions
How do I check website history?
Enter a domain or URL and the tool shows Internet Archive captures, including the first snapshot, latest snapshot, year-by-year archive counts, and direct links to saved pages.
Can I see old website screenshots?
The Wayback Machine stores archived web pages rather than simple image files. Opening a snapshot lets you see how the page looked at that point in time when the archived assets are available.
Can I capture the current website?
Yes. After checking a domain, use the capture action to open Internet Archive Save Page Now for the current page.
Can I check one page instead of a whole domain?
Yes. Enter a path such as example.com/pricing to look for captures of that specific URL. The result links still let you continue domain-level research separately.
Why are some years missing snapshot links?
Some captures are duplicates, redirects, errors, or non-HTML files. The timeline summarizes all captures and links out to the full Wayback calendar for deeper review.
Privacy-First Design
This tool uses a Cloudflare Worker proxy to fetch data from the Internet Archive's CDX Server API. We don't log your searches or track which domains you look up.
